Update on Kitty Story

NEWMARKET, July 19th, 2007

Regular visitors to our website have been writing to us asking about the condition of the kittens rescued by our collection crew back on June 17th. We are happy to report that Tabbies, Oscar and Pumpkin have completely recovered from their ordeal and have been transferred from Kingsdale Animal Hospital to the Ontario SPCA in Newmarket, where in just a few short weeks they will be ready for adoption.

TIR would like to again express our gratitude to the rescue team including: TIR Collection Crew; Geoffrey Lock & Lorenzo Riccardi, Road Supervisor Shawn Reddy, Official Larry Hollett, Nancy Cronsberry, Chris Somerville, The Kingsdale Animal Hospital and the Ontario SPCA Provincial office in Newmarket.

Though it is distressing to see the disregard and cruelty that was shown to these innocent animals, we are inspired and encouraged by the innate good in people, through the concern and actions of everyone involved.
